My Mister

The glamorous IU plays a tough down and out in the most heart wrenching drama I've ever seen. Ultimately uplifting, it is the story of ordinary people struggling to survive in a world ruled by the rich and cruel. Unforgettable characters and a story that holds your attention from beginning to end.

My Love From the Star

The 400 year saga of Do Min-joon, an alien stranded on planet earth and his developing relationship with the various incarnations of a women. The drama that introduced me to K-Series and remains impressively at the top of my list. As a point of interest, Do Min-june is played by Kim Soo-hyun, who commands 1.6 million dollars a series.

Crash Landing on You

The heart warming story of a rich heiress who crash lands in North Korea and is hidden by friendly soldiers. A realistic look at life in North Korea, staring the impossibly good looking Hyun Bin, Korea's second highest paid actor! A complex story that includes the KDrama speciality of remarkable coincidences tying the characters together from the past.

Dr Romantic

If you can't stand blood and gore, this is too realistic for you. But if you like hospital dramas this is the most exciting and life-like you'll see! Complex story of a maverick surgeon and his team in a small hospital. I'm not a fan of conventional medicine or doctors but after seeing this, I gained a new respect for surgeons. I suspect the title is a mis-translation as our lead doctor is not romantic at all...

This is the first twenty minutes of the series but I have started it half way through.

I Am Not a Robot

Both funny and deep, this is a zany story about a girl forced to pretend to be a robot in the house of a rich businessman who is allergic to humans. Of course, since he believes she is not human, he is not allergic to her - such is the power of belief! As usual, several stories run simultaneously as we follow the lives of the 'mad scientist' robot inventors and as usual in all KDramas the characters grow into different people at the end of their journey.

 Encounter

A powerful company CEO on a business trip to Cuba befriends a poor young student who doesn't know who she is. Later he ends up as an office junior in her company and they start a mismatched romance that becomes a scandal. Can it end well?

"Time spent without you no longer means anything to me."
